Pet of the Month

Brutus!

I am a sweet sweet boy who loves attention. I have bad hips and will need medicine for them, but I get around just great. Watch my video to see how active I am!

News

Come visit us each Saturday at the Ashtabula Mall Adoption Center (Old Harbor Pet Store) from 11:00am to 7:00pm.
Since we started going to the mall in April '04, over 800 dogs and cats have been adopted from there!

We can always use volunteers on Saturdays for transporting animals to and from the shelter and for taking a 4 hour shift at the Mall Store itself. Please call the shelter at 440.224.1222 if you would like to volunteer.

Who We Are

We are a non-profit animal shelter in Northeastern Ohio. We are trying not to euthanize healthy adoptable animals and we take in a large volume of cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies. Some months the dog warden brings us over 100 dogs!

All animals adopted from the shelter have to be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age. We believe that spaying and neutering is the primary way to solve the problem of so many unwanted cats and dogs.
